Good day, chinthaka. I'd like to offer my help with customizing invoice templates in QuickBooks Online.

For now, there's no option to directly edit the pre-populated title or header text on invoices such as the Company registration number section.

If you're using QuickBooks Online Plus or Advanced, you can add custom fields to replace the headers instead. I'd be glad to show you how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and select Custom form styles.
  2. Select the existing invoice template or create a new one by clicking New style. Then, select Invoice.
  3. Proceed to the Content tab and click the header section of the invoice.
  4. Uncheck the box for Govt.UID or Company registration number fields. This will remove the details in the header section.
  5. Scroll down to the bottom and click Manage custom fields.
  6. Click Add custom field, then type in the name or title of the custom field. This will be displayed in your invoice template.
  7. Check All Sales forms and slide the bar to the right if you want to include this field in the printed version of your tax forms.
  8. Click Save, then select Done.

Let me share this article that provides more details about this option: How To Add Custom Fields To Sales Forms And Purchase Orders In QuickBooks Online.
