I can see how the benefit of being able to mass update the cost of your product and services, @matthew-kapes-co.

Currently, we're unable to mass update the cost of each item in your product and services. For now, you'll have to manually update the cost of each product. I’ll show you how:

  1. Click the Gear icon at the top, then choose Product and Services
  2. Locate the product or services item, then click the Edit button under Action
  3. Enter the new cost.
  4. Select Save and close.

In keeping with this, I'm also adding this article to learn more about costs and profitability in QBO:

Also, you can run inventory-related reports in QBO. Simply go to the Reports menu, and then refer to the Sales and customers section. These are the following:

  • Inventory Valuation Summary report shows the quantity on hand, value, and the average cost for each product.
  • Inventory Valuation Detail report highlights all transactions for each inventory item, and how they affect quantity on hand, value, and cost.
  • Physical Inventory Worksheet report gives details on your inventory items with space to enter your physical count, so you can compare to the quantity on hand in QuickBooks.

Click the Reply button if you need more help with managing your item lists or anything else related to QuickBooks. I'll be here to assist you. Take care and have a great day, @matthew-kapes-co.
