Is there a way to have a customers phone number automatically added to a delivery note? Only found out this isn't the case compare to other accountancy packages...

Thank you for posting to the Community, pl-lyons.

 

Currently, the option to automatically add the customer’s phone number to the delivery note is unavailable. In this, I would recommend you send feedback directly to our product engineers. This way, they will get notified of the features that benefit the customer for their businesses.

 

Here’s how:

 

  1. Go to the Gear icon.
  2. Select Feedback.
  3. Enter a brief description of your product suggestion.
  4. Click Next to submit feedback.

 

In the meantime, you’ll want to consider adding the phone number in the billing address section or adding it directly to the other sales information. I’ll show you how:

  

  1. Go to the Customers & leads menu, then select Customers.
  2. Choose a customer's name, then select Edit.
  3. In the Billing address section, add the phone number above the street address information. 
  4. If the Shipping address is different, use the same steps to add the phone number to the shipping address field.
  5. Select Save.
