I understand how valuable and convenient it is to scan a QR code when paying bills in QuickBooks Online, @-sec-spearheadne. Let me provide some information and a workaround for it.

 

Currently, the option to use that functionality is unavailable in QBO. I suggest sending us feedback about it. Your insight will be a great help to our product developers in making your QuickBooks experience better. I'll show you how:

 

  1. Click on the Gear icon, then hit Feedback.
  2. Type in your comments or product suggestions. 
  3. Then click on Next to submit. Here's a snapshot for reference:

 

 

Alternatively, you can look for a third-party application you can integrate with QBO that allows you to start paying by scanning the  QR code. Here's how:

 

  1. Log on to the app store.
  2. Make sure to select the correct region from the top. (Beside the magnifying glass.)
  3. Search a tool by keyword, name, job, or category.
