Question

Is there any way to change the email body when invoices are sent to customers? I'd like to remove the massive Amount Due in the middle of the screen if possible.

The email body currently has a large amount due which is the first thing you'll see. I want a simple message there and then the invoice attached (which is fine). Having the large box with date and amount due is too much and I wouldn't like receiving such an email personally.

It's great to see you here in the Community, acuschieri.

Yes, you can modify the email body when invoices are sent to your customers in QuickBooks Online (QBO). To do this, follow the steps below:

  1. Go to the Gear icon and choose Account and settings.
  2. Select Sales.
  3. In the Online delivery section, click the pencil icon.
  4. Choose Plain text in the Additional email options for invoices.
  5. Click Save and then Done.
