My balance on an invoice is added to the next months invoice how do I stop this as it is putting the real balance out?

My balance on an invoice is added to the next months invoice how do I stop this as it is putting the real balance out? Can I stop this in settings?

I'm here to help stop QuickBooks from adding invoice balance to the next month, clubistrator-sut.

 

The invoice could be set up as a recurring transaction. You can delete or edit it to stop the system from creating advance balances.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Click the Gear icon on the top menu.
  2. Choose Recurring Transactions.
  3. If you’d like to delete the invoice template, click the Edit drop-down button and choose Delete.
  4. Click Yes to confirm.
  5. If you’d prefer to retain the template, click Edit.
  6. Change the Type to Unscheduled or Reminder.
  7. Click Save template.
