Is there anyway to schedule recurring invoices beyond annual? We sell Cisco Meraki with 3 year licenses and need to create recurring invoices for 3 year licenses. Is this possible?

I'm here to help schedule recurring invoices beyond annual, JGTCGZ.

The highest interval you can set is yearly. But, you have the option to enter an advance date in the Start date column.

Another schedule you can create is to set up multiple recurring templates. For example:

  • First template: Yearly, Start date 2024, End After 1 occurrences.
  • Second template: Yearly, Start date 2027, End After 1 occurrences.

Here are the steps on how to create them in QuickBooks:

  1. From the Gear icon, pick Recurring Transactions.
  2. Tap the New button and select Invoice for the Transaction Type.
  3. Hit OK and enter all the recurring details.
  4. Press Save template when done.

To learn more about creating scheduled transactions, see this article: Schedule recurring transactions created with a template.

You may have a membership management app to integrate with your QBO as another option.
