Question

Sales tax was showing on the invoice as "TAX" and in Spain, it is a legal requirement to show the percentage of tax.

After a lot of messing around, somehow I managed to get the percentage to show, however now it also shows the word agency! I am unsure how to simply get the text to show as "21% IVA) on the invoice??

Let's work together to figure out why the word "agency" shows up next to the percentage on the invoice, rachel.

To confirm, are you referring about selecting the tax option from the Tax column specifically on the Invoice page?

If that's the case, let's verify the tax name in the setup to confirm whether any recent changes have been made to it. It could be someone changed the name. You can use the Audit log feature to see who made changes to your books and what they did.

Here's how to remove the word agency:

  1. Go to the Taxes menu and click the Edit drop-down arrow.
  2. Select Edit rates.
  3. Find the tax you want to edit. If this need to correct, click Edit.
  4. Update the name and remove the word agency.
  5. Click Save to reflect the changes.
