Welcome, and thank you for posting in the Community, @JeffThevenot. Let me help share information about the shipping charges in invoices.

As of the moment, we’re unable to customise the invoice template to add the shipping costs before the taxes. As a workaround, you can manually add them as one of the line items on your invoices.

Here's how:

  1. On the left pane, go to the Sales menu.
  2. Select the Products and services tab.
  3. Click New, then choose Non-inventory or Service.
  4. Enter the details of the fee.
  5. Once done, tap Save and close.

After that, you can now add the product together with the shipping fee to your invoice. For your visual reference, I've attached a screenshot below.

Additionally, you can create an invoice template according to your own preferences. This means that you'll be able to add and remove information from the header, invoice table, and footer. You can read this article to learn how to design your invoice and sales receipt template to help stay compliant with your tax agency: Customise invoices, estimates, and sales receipts.

I've included an article that'll help you see your best sellers, what’s on hand, the cost of goods, and more: Use Reports to See your Sales and Inventory Status.
