Thank you for reaching out, @k-barnawal-servi. I can share information about the error message you're getting and help you match your transactions.

I want you to know that there are reported cases related to the error you've received. Our engineers are working together to fix the issue as soon as possible. While they're looking for a resolution, you perform these workarounds to match your entries on the Banking screen.

  1. Open your invoice, then remove the banking/service fee.
  2. Open the payment transaction, then change the Deposit To to Undeposited Funds.
  3. Deposit the payment through the Bank Deposit window.
    1. Go to the +New icon, then click on Bank Deposit.
    2. Click the invoice/customer to which the transaction is attached.
    3. Go to the Add funds to this deposit section, then add the fees in negative amount (-).
    4. Save the transaction.

After that, match your bank receipt and invoice on the Banking page.

I'm also adding this link for more hints while reviewing your banking transactions: Categorise and match online bank transactions in QuickBooks Online.

When you're ready to reconcile your account to match your bank and credit card statements, see this article as your guide: Reconcile an account in QuickBooks Online.

On the other hand, I'd recommend reaching out to our Support Team so a live representative can add your company name to the list of affected users in the current investigation. Once added, you'll automatically receive email notifications of the latest update.

Leave a comment below if you have other questions while matching your transactions. I'm always here to help. Have a great weekend!
