Let me offer some troubleshooting methods to ensure the hours worked automatically appear on your invoices in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Nadia.

Please know that the hours will not automatically be entered in your invoices. Instead, it will appear in the Suggested Transactions box located on the right side of the screen when selecting a customer.

First, ensure to select the Billable option when creating timesheets for your employees. To do that:

    1. Go to + New and select Weekly Timesheet.
    2. Fill in the required fields.
    3. Click the Billable checkbox.
    4. Select Save and Close.

If you've already done so, we can troubleshoot your browser to clear the outdated cache that causes the issue. First, access your account using a private browser to start afresh. You may use these keyboard shortcuts:

    • For Google Chrome browser: Ctrl + Shift + N
    • For Mozilla Firefox browser: Ctrl + Shift + P
    • For Safari browser: Command + Shift + N

If it works, you may return to your default browser and clear its cache to refresh the page or use a different supported browser.

Moreover, you'll need to record an invoice payment in QBO to mark it as paid.
