Question

The phone number I used to register is from Vietnam, but the company address is in Hong Kong. Why are the codes VN and VNM appearing in the invoice address?

Hi there,
Nice to meet you. I'm new to QuickBooks Online (QBO), and I'm facing an issue with my company address. The address was entered as being in Hong Kong, but the phone number I used to register is from Vietnam. Because of this, the codes "VN" and "VNM" are showing up on my invoices to customers. I've tried to change the address settings, but the issue persists.
Could you please help me resolve this?
Thank you!

Who signed up for your QBO account?

What is the home currency by default? HKD or VND?

Thank you for posting here, @Linh-Mangotiger

Let me share info about correcting the region that shows in your invoice.

Since you utilize a Vietnam registered number and if you selected this country during registration, QuickBooks determines your account as located in this region regardless of your company address.

Thus, changing the registered country is unavailable in QuickBooks Online (QBO). If you wish to change the region, you'll need to create a new account by choosing the country first: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/choose-country/.

You can read this article for more info: Can I change the account's country?

If you wish to cancel your account, you can read this article on how to do it: Cancel your QuickBooks Online subscription or trial.
