The text of the message inserted in an invoice and a reminder invoice is repeated in a lighter shade of grey. It shouldn't be repeated at all. Can anyone help?

Having a message that is repeated in your invoices is an unusual behavior of QuickBooks Online.

 

If this issue shows in an invoice that you haven't sent, I suggest using a new template. I'll show you how to create and use a template.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Click the Gear icon Settings gear icon. and choose Custom form styles.
  2. Hit the New Style button, then select Invoice.
  3. Choose how you want your invoice to look like.
  4. Click Done.
  5. You can click the Edit dropdown and choose Make default to use it with new invoices.

 

If the issue persists, it's a good idea to check for issues brought on by a full cache when browsing anonymously because doing so prevents the cache from recording your browsing data. You may also try to use other browsers.

 

  • Chrome: Press Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox: Press Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Press Command + Shift + N
