Trying to update my orders to receive payment but I cant, why?

when I click in SALES, RECEIVE PAYMENT, nothing happen only and arrow thinking, at the end, the order appear thats not receive a payment (actually those order receive payment)

Hi there, Jose. I can help you with updating your orders in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

 

If you're trying to receive a payment for your customer's pending orders (invoices) in QBO, you can do it through the +New icon.

 

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks account.
  2. Select Receive Payment from the +New icon.
  3. Fill in the details.
  4. Click on Save and Close.

 

If you're coming from the Sales menu, locate the invoice, then click on Receive Payment under Action.

 

If the system takes time to load when trying to receive a payment, you can try performing the process through a private window. It's the best place to check browser-related issues while working with QuickBooks. Here are the keyboard shortcuts to save you time:
 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl Shift N
  • Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ Shift N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl Shift P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl Shift P

 

If it works fine, go back to your original browser and clear its cache to start fresh. You can also use another supported and up-to-date browser to narrow down the result.
