Welcome to the QuickBooks Community, and thank you for choosing QuickBooks for your business, Manish. I can help you receive inventory in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

In order to receive your inventory items in QuickBooks, you need to create bills instead of invoices. That said, it causes a negative amount on your inventory report if you. To get this fixed, you'll want to delete and recreate the invoices to allocate the correct account. Here's how:

  1. Find and open each of the invoices you wish to update.
  2. Click More, then select Delete.
  3. Select Yes to confirm.

Once done, recreate the invoice with the updated item. After that, you can create a bill each time you receive the item. This way, the quantity of the item will be added to the inventory.

Here's how to create a bill:

  1. Click + New and choose Bill.
  2. Select the Vendor.
  3. From the Category column, select the expense account for the transaction.
  4. Enter the description and amount of the expense and select the Billable checkbox.
  5. In the Customer column, select the customer you want to bill for this expense.
  6. Fill in the necessary field. Then, hit Save and close.

Once done, you can now enter a billable expense into an invoice.
