Question

We added column discount on the invoice but after we uploaded the invoice sheet upon mapping there's no discount field on the mapping. How can we add the discount field.

Hi there, pashin.

I would like to share some information why the discount column from the spreadsheet was not included.

There are things that cannot be imported from your spreadsheets, such as adding discounts and negative amounts. QuickBooks only download some information, please see the sample screenshot below:

For more information about it, you can check out this article: Common questions about importing data to QuickBooks Online. It'll also guide you further on to download your data in your book.

Even if we cannot bring the discounts using the CSV file, there's an alternative way to record it in QuickBooks. We can manually enter the discounts or look for a third-party application that can help you upload the discounts and integrate it with QuickBooks.

Let me know if you have follow-up questions about it. I'm always here to assist you further. Keep safe!

Can you suggest an 3rd party application for this ?

Thanks

I appreciate your prompt response, @pashin.

QuickBooks integrates with hundreds of third-party software developers.

To view a wide range of options, I recommend using specific keywords to narrow down the search. You can check the reviews from other customers to help you decide which app suits your business type and needs.
