Question

We currently sync Bill.com w/QBO without synching the document images (pdfs of vendor invoices, etc.) Has anyone turned on doc sync and regretted it due to problems?

Just don't want to break the sync we have, but would like to start seeing the attachments from Bill within QBO.

Seeing the attachment documents sync between BILL and QuickBooks Online (QBO) is important for simplifying your business operations, Misscecily. I'm here to provide some insights to help you guide this process effectively.

Activating document synchronization between BILL and QBO can increase storage demands, potentially cause syncing errors, and slow down processing times. Consider a phased implementation or trial period to effectively manage these issues and ensure smooth operation.

Once enabled, any document attached to a bill and saved will sync to the attachments section of the bill details in both QBO and BILL, provided document sync was activated beforehand.

Here's how to enable document sync:

    1. Go to Setting.
    2. Choose Preference under Sync & Integrations.
    3. Select the Edit icon.
    4. Check the Sync Documents to QBO box to sync documents from BILL to QBO.
    5. Check the Sync Documents from the QBO box to sync documents from QBO to BILL.
    6. Click Save.
