Question

When QB is looking for invoice/payment to match with bank transaction it only looks back 3 months or so . Can I expand this so it looks in the past year? Thank you

Glad to see you here, Ire Return. 

 

By default, QuickBooks will show all your transactions for the last 90 days/3 months on the Match transactions page. If you need to look for the transaction beyond that date, you can simply adjust the filters. I'll guide you how:

 

  1. Select Transactions or Banking from the sidebar menu.
  2. Go to the Banking tab, then choose the appropriate bank account.
  3. Click the appropriate transaction to expand the view.
  4. Tick the Find match radio button.
  5. Adjust the date from the From and To filters.
