While makinf new sub account under chart of accounts..i cannot see full list of chart of account for selection of sub accounts?

I'll share some information and troubleshooting steps about setting sub-accounts in QuickBooks Online (QBO). 

 

There are some possible reasons why you're unable to see the full list in creating sub-accounts in QBO. These are the following: 

 

  • Your access is limited only. 
  • There's an issue of your browsers

 

Please make sure that your roles are either Master or Company Admin. So you're able to add accounts. To know more about access rights, please browse this article: User roles and access rights in QuickBooks Online

 

To resolve browsers concern, let's do some primary troubleshooting steps to get rid of the problem. So, you're able to set up sub-accounts. Sometimes, a browser full of cache and temp files can produce extraordinary performances. With this, let's log in to your QBO account via incognito to isolate the problem.

 

You can use these shortcut keys below: 

 

  • Ctrl Shift (Google Chrome)
  • Ctrl Shift (Firefox)
  • Control Option (Safari)
  • Ctrl + Shift + P (Microsoft Edge)

 

From there, set it up again to verify if it's already performing adequately. If that works, I'd advise you to go back to your normal browser and induct clear the cache. Doing in other supported browsers is a surpassing choice too.
