I'll give steps on how you can re-enter the deleted transactions, info-sevens-ie.

We keep your data for one year after you cancel your account for paid and trial subscriptions. This allows you to resume where you left off if you decide to return. Unless you choose to resubscribe or reactivate your account, the file will remain in a read-only state during this time. We delete the data after one year. Here's an article you can refer to for more details about canceling your QuickBooks Online subscription or trial.

However, if you purge and reset your QuickBooks Online (QBO) file, all historical data will be deleted. You can export your data, reports, lists, and more from QuickBooks Online before resetting your file.

If you deleted the invoices by mistakes, the option to undo them is unavailable. QBO keeps track of every financial transaction you make. It also logs all account activity, including user logins, modifications to QuickBooks settings, additions or deletions of customers, suppliers, or workers, as well as payroll submissions. The following is noted by QuickBooks in the audit log:

  • The date of any change to your books
  • The name of the user who made the change
  • The type of change or event
  • The name of any customer or supplier related to the change
  • Any original transaction date and amount

The audit log contains occurrences that are accessible for two years. Using the Audit Log report and manually recreating them will allow you to recover the deleted invoices. Let me demonstrate:

  1. Go to the Gear located in the upper right-hand corner.
  2. Under Tools, select Audit log.
  3. Select the User and Date.
  4. From the Event drop-down menu, choose Deleted/Voided transactions.
  5. Find the deleted invoice and click View to see the history.
  6. After getting the information, you can re-create the invoice by going to + New, then Bills.
