Why is it there is no discount & credits option is Customer's Receive Payment

Thank you for visiting the Community today! I'll be happy to share information about discounts and credits.

The discount option is only available on the invoice transaction page. If you want to provide credits after you've created an invoice, you can create a credit memo instead. Then. you can apply it on the payment page when you receive payments for the invoice.
