Why there's no location or class appeared in transaction journal when I received the payments from customers though when I made the invoice there is a location and class?

Thanks for posting here. I understand that the importance of tracking the transactions correctly. Let me share some details about it.

 

The Class tracks income, expenses, or profitability per line item of your transaction while the Location is for the transaction itself. When we run a journal report, we need to make sure that we added both Location and Class columns. Simply click the small Gear icon next to the Export button and check both mentioned columns.

 

The reason why they aren't included is that the "Receive Payment" type does not have these options. You may check these links as a reference on how and when to use these tracking features:
