Starting in July 2025, all companies must issue invoices with a QR code and specific information on them, as well as submitting the invoice information electronically in a specific XML format to the tax authorities.  This is laid out in this government publication: https://www.boe.es/boe/dias/2024/10/28/pdfs/BOE-A-2024-22138.pdf Does Intuit plan to support generating compliant invoices in time for the July 2025 deadline?

Regulatory compliance is vital to help avoid legal issues, reputational damage, and financial penalties, mcalsyn. I'll provide a workaround for now to have seamless invoice processing while we currently do not have updates regarding XML format.

Since generating compliant invoices with QR codes and specific information is currently unavailable, consider looking for a tool that converts the file into XML format. You can do so on your QuickBooks account by following the steps below:

    1. Go to the Apps menu on the left panel.
    2. Select the Find apps tab.
    3. Enter the name of the tool or app on the search box and filter categories or industries to discover more.

Moreover, visit this page to scan more apps that integrate with QBO outside the program: QuickBooks App Store.

Afterward, create and send customer statements to remind them about their upcoming deadlines and receive your receivables on time.

Once settled, register your revenues in the system to monitor the business finances: Record invoice payments in QuickBooks Online.

I acknowledge that adhering to your region's regulatory standards protects the well-being of people, data, and integrity. If any information becomes available soon, we'll surely let you know. In the meantime, add a response below for more questions regarding invoices or file conversions.
