I have some troubleshooting steps to help with your category account not showing up when creating a bill transaction in QuickBooks Online, ggt365. Let me get into the details below.

First, you can manually input the name of the category account in the Category Details section in the Bill interface to double-check. This can help ensure that the account is available for selection.

If the category account still doesn't show up after manually inputting the account name, let's use a private browser to start the troubleshooting steps. Too much cache could have accumulated in the browser, causing display issues with the existing accounts.

Here are the keyboard shortcuts you can use depending on the browser you're using:

  • For Firefox, press Ctrl Shift P
  • For Chrome, press Ctrl Shift N
  • For Safari, hold down Command Shift N

If the category account appears in the private browser, we can clear the stored cache on your regular browser. Otherwise, we can use a different supported browser besides the one you regularly use.

Lastly, you can refer to this article for guidance if you want to see all the payments made to your suppliers via report: Run a report with supplier totals in QuickBooks Online.
