How to retrieve deleted invoices

Once a transaction has been deleted, we can't undo the action as what the prompt message warns before deleting a transaction. However, you can use the Audit log feature to get the information of the deleted invoice and recreate it. With this report, you can keep track of added, deleted, and modified transactions, as well as user entries. It allows you to see the history of changes made to individual transactions or a range of multiple transactions. To begin, here's how:

1. Go to the Gear icon.
2. Choose Audit Log.
3. From the Filter drop-down, choose the appropriate User, Date, and Events filter then click Apply.
4. Locate the deleted transaction and then use the browser search.
5. Press Ctrl + F on your keyboard.
6. Enter a keyword about the deleted invoice.
7. Under the History column, click View.
8. All the information needed for the transaction can be found under the EVENT column.
