Question

I'm trying to import invoices with 0 quantity, rate of $0.15 for an item, it failed. How can we import invoices with 0 qty? In QB global successf, but in QB SG, it failed

Hi there!

Let's check to see why you're unable to import your invoices.

I have successfully imported an invoice with one item with 0 qty and a $0.15 rate into my QBO SG trial company. There was no error or anything. What about you? There must be a reason or error if you can't import.

If there was no error on your end, we can do the browser troubleshooting steps. This is a way to find out if you're just experiencing random browser issues.

We can start by signing in to your QBO company using a private window. This step will disable the extensions and stops the cache from saving your search history.

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N.
  • Safari: Command + Shift + N.
  • MS Edge and Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P.

If private browsing lets you import your invoice, you can clear your browser's cache. If not, please use a different browser to see if this only happens to the one you are using.

Feel free to share an update after doing the basic troubleshooting steps. We're just around if you need more help.

Hi, thank you for the suggestion but it does not work out. I still get this error after using google private window.

The files that i upload looks like this:

The moment i changed the 0 to other numbers, it will upload successfully. But not with 0.

Thanks for sharing your screenshots, @cpc-copierpc-com.

As an overview, when you import invoices with multiple line items, make sure each line entry has an invoice number, customer, invoice date, and other required details, just like in the sample spreadsheet.

I can see that the error occur because there are blanks on line entries from the second and fifth lines with invoice numbers: 2301118.

To fix this, I'd recommend removing those lines or filling those lines so it will go through.
