Set customer delivery instructions on all invoices?

It's great to have you here in the Community, Bottleshock.

You can set up specific customer delivery instructions to be printed or reflected on every invoice in QuickBooks Online without entering them each time.  

Start by creating a customer field. Please note that this feature is available in the Essentials, Plus, and Advanced version of QuickBooks Online.

Here's how:

1. Go to the Gear icon in the upper-right corner.
2. Select Custom fields under the Lists section.
3. Click the Add field and name it something like Delivery Instructions.
4. Please choose the type (e.g., text) and check the box to include it on the forms.

Once you've created the customer field, you can add delivery instructions to the customer profile by following these steps:

1. Go to the Sales menu and select Customers.
2. To add delivery instructions for a customer, double-click on their profile and click Edit.
3. In the Customer Information window, find the custom field you created, enter the delivery instructions, and then Save.

By doing this, the delivery instructions will automatically appear on every invoice for that specific customer, which ensures consistency and saves you time. I included some screenshots to show you what it looks like when you create an invoice and send it to your customer as a PDF.

Additionally, after your customers have made their payments, you can record payments to mark your invoices as paid, ensuring accuracy in your account.
