Hello, @paul97.

I'll share updates about the issue with updating FNB (First National Bank) transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO) so you can manage your financial data accordingly.

For the time being, the investigation (INV-88931) with FNB (South Africa) unable to update transactions in QBO is still in progress. Rest assured that this issue is being taken care of with utmost urgency. Hopefully, you can get back to managing online transactions in no time.

As a workaround, you can manually import your FNB transactions via CSV file. Once the connection is restored and transactions are downloaded, make sure to exclude all duplicate transactions to keep your data accurate.

In keeping with this, I'd recommend contacting our Customer Care team if you haven't already. They can add your account to the list of affected users. This ensures you're in the loop about the investigation's status and its fix. To do this, here's how:

  1. Sign in to your QBO company.
  2. Go to the Help (?) menu.
  3. Select the Search tab.
  4. Click the Contact Us button.
  5. Enter a brief description of your concern in the What can we help you with? field.
  6. Select Continue.
  7. Choose the Chat with us option to connect with our experts.

Also, I encourage you to reconcile your accounts in QBO regularly (every month). This helps monitor your income and expenses and detect any possible errors accordingly. You may want to check out this article as your guide you in doing and fixing reconciliation in QBO: Learn the reconcile workflow in QuickBooks.

If there's anything else you need or you have other banking concerns and questions about managing transactions in QBO, I'm always ready to help. Take care.
