Can I change my address to the UK which is where the client is based. I am based in South Africa and it keeps defaulting there with Geo location.

Modifying the address in QuickBooks Online (QBO) isn't feasible because the account's country has been set based on the location when the subscription was created.

 

You may want to create a new subscription in QuickBooks and use the UK version, then cancel the other account to avoid double billing.

 

To create a new account, here's how:

 

  1. Open this link: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/choose-country/.
  2. Choose the country you want to subscribe to.
  3. Select whether to subscribe now or use a 30-day free trial and the type of subscription you will be using.
  4. Click Add another company, then enter your existing Intuit login credentials.
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up the account.
