Can I change my new company online South Africa to United States? I paid in Rand now last week already and seems like this is not correct.

Hi elize-horn,

 

I'm here to share some information about changing subscriptions.

 

The option to switch from QuickBooks Online South Africa to the United States is unavailable. 

 

You'll have to purchase a new subscription and ensure to select the United States as the country. Then, you may cancel the South African version to avoid duplicate charges.

 

You can change the country by clicking the Country drop-down.

Thanks for the reply Adrian, will I loose now the money that I paid last week for the 2 companies in South Africa. Or will they refund me seeing that I didn't use it as yet.

I recommend reaching out to our Customer Care Support team. They can pull up your account securely and review your billing information to verify if you're eligible for a refund.

 

Here's how:

  1. Click the (?) Help icon in the upper right-hand corner of the Dashboard.
  2. Select Talk to a Human.
  3. Enter a short description of your concern and press Enter.
  4. Click I still need a human.
  5. Select Contact Us to connect with our live support.
  6. Choose Start a chat.

Additionally, you have the option to change your billing info, payment method, and manage your subscription through your account.

You have to open a new blank QBO US version and cancel your QBO South Africa account

Do I need to apply again and pay then for the United states companies seeing that it's 2 of them. I didn't use this companies as yet in SA and will not loose that money. If I cancel and apply  again US will they refund me

Also I'm the bookkeeper situated in SA and my client is in US. If I apply for multiply companies again by taking 2 licenses so long. And need more licenses later they told me the amount will be the same for the other companies later.  And also I don't have upfront my clients details, so can I use my first client s info to apply for both licenses address and my name and email to open books. Then change info when I have the clients info.  Will appreciate a call too explain myself
