Can Quickbooks be used to for employee taxes like UIF and Income tax in South Africa and how?

If you are trying to run payroll to record employee's taxes for Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF) and income tax, then that option is unavailable in QuickBooks Online (South Africa). However, we can record those transactions manually by adding a payroll journal entry. I'd suggest consulting our accountant on what posting account you'll need to apply to record the employee's taxes for UIF and income tax. Here's how: 

  1. Click the + New button.
  2. Choose Journal Entry.
  3. Add all the necessary information like the datedebit, and credit accounts.
  4. Press Save and new button once you’re done.
