Can someone assist with correcting Sale of Product showing as negative Cost of Sale?

I can help you with rectifying your concern about the negative cost of sale in QuickBooks Online (QBO).

To start, we can check your inventory items’ set up to see the posting account when sold. It could be that you chose an expense account instead of income. Let me show you how:

1. Go to Gear icon ⚙ and select Products and Services.
2. Under the Action column of the appropriate item, select Edit.
3. From the Income Account ▼ drop-down, choose the correct account.
   
4. Click Save and Close.

If verified, change the account of the item to an income account and make sure to update past transactions as the changes won’t retroactively apply.
