Dates on bank transactions that were already categorized, have changed themselves, I find dates like 01/01/1970

When categorizing entries in QuickBooks Online (QBO), the transaction date doesn't change. Since you're experiencing some unusual behavior, let's have you undo these categorized transactions. This way, we can narrow the cause of this.

To do so, here's how:

1. Log in to your QBO account.
2. Go to Transaction, then Bank transaction.
3. Click the tile of your account.
4. Select Categorize.
5. Identify the transaction that has the incorrect date, and then hit Undo.

Once done, check if the entry changed to its correct date in the For Review tab. If this resolves the issues, you can recategorize these transactions again.
