I'm glad you posted here, Nomvula.

Currently, the Assembly feature isn't available in QuickBooks Online (QBO) to set up raw material for a finished good. However,  I see how challenging on your end to have incorrect stock in your account.

On the other hand, QBO set a stock in a Bundle. Unlike the Assembly feature, this consists of different products in one bundle.

Feel free to watch this video to learn how (the region of this is from the United States (US). However, it's applicable on your end): How to Use Bundles: Grouping Products & Services

As a workaround, you can look for a third-party application that can suffice this feature in QBO. Here's how:

  1. On the left panel, click the Apps icon.
  2. Select Find apps.
  3. In the Search field, enter the keyword of the app you're looking for.

You can also click this link to find one: Find Apps.

Concerning your incorrect stocks, I recommend contacting your accountant to guide you on the best action to correct them in QBO.

You might want to know QBO track stock. You can read this article: What is FIFO and how is it used for stock cost accounting?

If you have a simple operation, you can explore this inventory management app

For a complex operation, consider to use a manufacturing app

@nomvulaakeswa-gm

You need a 3rd party app with the assembly feature to integrate with QBO.
