Question

a credit card transaction has not shown up in QBO. Doing my reconciliation for that time period and cannot finish. How do I get this transaction in the books?

How might I add a transaction to QuickBooks?

You can directly add your credit card transaction into your account register, ennis. Rest assured that you can successfully add it to QuickBooks Online (QBO), ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.

 

To add your credit card transaction, kindly follow these steps:

 

  1. Navigate to the Chart of Accounts.
  2. Select the appropriate register corresponding to your credit card transaction.


     
  3. Press CTRL+ALT+N. From the Add expense dropdown, select your credit card transaction type.
  4. Complete all required fields with the relevant details and hit Save when done.

 

Alternatively, you may enter your credit card transaction by utilizing the +New icon.
