In QuickBooks Online, the decimal point is set as default in the program. You can change how the amounts are displayed by adding a separator. Let me guide you on how to change the Number format feature to show the correct setup. 

 

Here's how:

  1. Sign in to your QBO account.
  2. In the upper right-hand, go to the Gear icon and choose the Account and Settings option.
  3. Select the Advanced panel, click on the Pencil icon for Other preferences to update the decimal points.
  4. From the Number format drop-down, choose the format you want to use on the transaction.
  5. Once done, click on Save and then choose Done.
