It's good to see your post in the Community, @userkmcleaners.

I've got some tips on how to keep the bank balance in QuickBooks Online hidden from your employees.

Let's start by reviewing your employees' user access rights to see if they're set up correctly. Here's how to do it:

  1. Click the Gear icon.
  2. Choose Manage Users under Your Company
  3. Find the user's name you want to edit.
  4. From the Action column, select Edit.

Your employee is unable to view your bank account or have access to your bank register if he or she is set up as a standard user with limited access to customers and vendors. For your convenience, I've included a screenshot below.

If you've chosen the All button, your employees will be able to see and do everything except your customers' and vendors' transactions. You'll have to update his or her access permissions to a suitable level. Here's how to do it:

  1. In the User type drop-down, select the type of access you want this user to have.
  2. From the bottom right side, hit Save.
  3. Ask the user to log out, then log back in to check on the change in access rights.
