What we mean is to reset all transactions from trial version so that actual transaction process will not be affected.

Allow me to officially welcome you to the QuickBooks family, n-magin-b-basket. I'd be glad to help with your questions about resetting your account.

Yes, you can wipe out your data in a new or trial QBO account using the purge feature. This process completely resets all transaction history, account balances, customer records, and any other data.

This will essentially bring your account back to a blank slate and will allow you to start fresh as if opening a QBO account for the first time.

Let me share these steps with you:

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online account and log in as an admin.
  2. Once you're signed in, open this link. Alternatively, you can go to the URL in your browser's address bar, delete all the text, and enter the following web address instead: https://app.qbo.intuit.com/app/purgecompany
  3. To confirm you want to delete your company data, type Yes.
  4. Select OK, then click Wipe data.

You can read more details about this process here: Delete Your Data and Start Over in QuickBooks Online.

In addition to the purge capabilities, let me also provide some resources to guide you as you start utilizing QuickBooks Online for your bookkeeping:

Those articles cover core areas like customizing company settings, setting up charts of accounts, recording initial transactions, generating key reports, and other fundamentals.

Feel free to reach out to us again if any other questions or issues emerge when getting the hang of QuickBooks Online, n-magin-b-basket. I'm always glad to help explain features or processes related to essential workflows.
