Question

Emails are not triggered from quickbooks. You try to send payment voucher to vendor, cc your email. No emails received yet. It is not working.

It's possible that a browser-related issue is causing the carbon copies not to be sent to your email. You can also check your Spam folders if it's your first time sending a transaction from QuickBooks. 

 

A cache full of history and temp files can cause unexpected behaviors, such as unable to receive vendor payment vouchers. We can try logging in to your QuickBooks Online account using a private browser. This way, it'll help us confirm if the cache is the cause and disable it from caving browsing history or data.

 

To use a private browser, here's how:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Safari: Command + Option + P

 

Check your email and you can resend the payment voucher from there. If this works, it means that you need to clear your browser's cache so the system can start fresh. If you get the same result while using a private browser, I recommend switching to a different browser.
