I can see how the functionality to tag transactions would be beneficial to your business, @webmaster5. I'm here to share some insights.

The Tags feature's availability may depend on the region. It is currently unavailable in the QuickBooks Online (QBO) International versions.

In the meantime, you can use the class tracking feature to get more details on your sales, expenses, or profitability for each part of your business if you have the QBO Plus version. To start with, you'll have to turn this option on the Account and Settings page. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon  and select Account and Settings.
  2. Choose the Advanced tab. Then, choose the Categories section to edit.
  3. Check Track classes and also Warn me when a transaction isn't assigned a class.
  4. Under Assign classes, choose One to entire transaction or One to each row in transaction.
  5. Click Save and Done.

For additional information about this process, visit this article: Get started with class tracking in QuickBooks Online.

While this feature is unavailable, I recommend sending your feedback to our Product Development Team so they can review it and might consider implementing it in the future. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon at the top.
  2. Select Feedback.
  3. Enter your comments or product suggestions.
  4. Click Next to submit them.

Keep me posted if you still have questions or concerns about managing your QBO account. It's always my pleasure to help you out again. Keep safe!
