Let's ensure you can successfully match your transaction in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Vladimiros.

To assist you better, could you please confirm if the multicurrency button you’re referring to is the Foreign Currency option in the Find other matches when matching transactions?

If you don’t see this option, let’s start with basic troubleshooting to rule out common browser-related issues that can affect QBO’s performance. Try accessing your account using an incognito or private browsing window. Here are the keyboard shortcuts for opening an incognito window:

  • Safari: Shift + ⌘ + N
  • Google Chrome: Press Ctrl + ShiftN
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + N

If accessing QuickBooks through an incognito window resolves the issue, I recommend clearing your browser's cache to refresh the system. If the problem persists, I suggest switching to a different supported browser.

If you see the option but can't find a matching transaction, it may be because the amounts don't closely match. QuickBooks requires the bank transaction amount to be identical to the bill amount for a match to be shown. If nothing is found, you have the option to exclude the bank transaction while keeping the bill you've created. Then, you can manually mark the entry as paid to reflect the payment.

Additionally, I recommend reconciling your account regularly to ensure the balance of your QBO matches your real-life bank statement.

I can help keep your records precise. Thus, you can always post if you have more concerns about managing transactions or any QuickBooks-related matters. I’m just a post away.
