Thank you for your post about entering salary transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO), Sprint. I see the need for proper guidance on this process, and I'm happy to provide a step-by-step walkthrough.

QuickBooks Online International version doesn't have a built-in payroll function or dedicated payroll support executives. However, you can still record salary expenses in your QBO by manually creating journal entries and integrating with a third-party payroll application.

To record payroll journal entries for salary expenses, here's how:

  1. Go to + New and select Journal Entry in the OTHER section.
  2. In the Date field, enter the paycheck date.
  3. Then, Field in the necessary information
  4. Then hit Save and new.

For a more detailed guide on recording payroll journal entries in QBO, I recommend referring to this article: Recording payroll in QuickBooks Online.

To look for a third-party app, here's the detailed steps:

  1. Go to the Apps menu on the left navigation bar.
  2. Hit on the Find Apps tab.
  3. Search for the app you wish to connect to in the search bar or select the Browse category dropdown to search for an app by category.
  4. Choose the app you wish to download.
  5. Click on Get App Now.
  6. Authorize the app to connect to your QBO.
  7. Follow the remaining steps to connect and set up the app settings of your choice.

Alternatively, you can visit our QuickBooks Global App Store website directly and select an app that best suits your business from the CATEGORIES section.

If you need to speak with our support team, I'll share a link to get the support you need: QBO Contact Support.

Furthermore, I'll share these additional resources about handling third-party app integrations within QBO.

Let me know if you have any concerns or questions about passing salary entries or any other QuickBooks-related inquiries you may have. I'm always here to help you out again.
