How do I print a Debtors transaction listing for the last 8 months, for a client of mine?

A customer of mine asked me for a detail transaction listing so that she can see how I allocated payments to invoices I have send her. Now I am trying to print a transactions listing to show her that.

    Hello, roelene!

     

    I have a great news for you because QuickBooks can generate a report called Statement, which shows your client's transactions that include invoices and their allocated payments. Transactions are arranged by date and presented as simply as possible, making it easier to spot questionable entries.

     

    I'm happy to walk you through the steps, and feel free to ask questions if you want to clarify certain instructions.

     

    1. Go to Customers & leads on the left-hand side.
    2. Choose the customer that you want to create a report for.
    3. Click the New transaction drop list and choose Statement.
    4. In the Statement Type drop list, select Balance Forward or Transaction Statement.
      • Balance Forward: Lists invoices and payments with outstanding balances for a specific date range.
      • Transaction Statement: Lists all transactions for the selected date range.
    5. Make sure the Start Date and End Date cover the eight-month period that your client ask for.
    6. Click Apply, and then Print or Preview.

     

     

    You can close the previewed statement and click Save and send if you want to email the report to your client.
