I appreciate your time posting here in the Community.

The decimal point is set as the program's default in QuickBooks Online (QBO). By adding a separator, you can change how the amounts are displayed. Let me show you how to change the Number format feature to display the proper setup. Let me show you how:

  1. Go to the Gear icon. on the top menu.
  2. Choose the Account and Settings option.
  3. Select the Advanced panel, and click on the Pencil icon for Other preferences to update the decimal points.
  4. From the Number format drop-down, choose the format you want to use on the transaction.
  5. Once done, click on Save.
  6. Press Done.

If you want the numbers to be whole when running a report, you can customize it to do so. This will also affect the dollar amounts, producing them as a whole number. I'll demonstrate how to do it:

  1. Go to the Reports menu and select the desired report.
  2. Click the Customize button.
  3. Go to the Rows/Columns section and scroll to the Add Sub-columns for Comparison: area.
  4. Tick the box to the left of the desired percentage information, if not already selected.
  5. To the left click on Numbers.
  6. Under Show all Numbers: click on the box to the left of Without Cents.
  7. Tap the Run Report button.

You can also utilize the export feature and customize it within Excel. For future reference, feel free to check these articles: This includes the resources on how you can manage sales transactions in QBO:

Keep me posted on how things go after following the troubleshooting steps. I want to ensure you’re all set with this concern. Have a wonderful day ahead.
