Question

How long does it take for qb to review a request for a refund as I submitted mine 2.5 weeks ago and heard nothing. My case is still open looking at the refund tracker.

I want to help you get your concern addressed right away, @userhello18.

 

QuickBooks review a refund request 7-10 business days after full verification. Since you submitted the request two weeks ago, I'd suggest contacting our Customer Support Team. 

 

This way, they can check the status of your refund request. Before doing so, please review our support hours to ensure your concern gets addressed right away.

 

Also, you can provide the case number from the previous rep, I recommend providing the information to the next support. This way, you will no longer need to explain the full details again to make the process faster. 

 

Here's how:

 

1. Click the (?) Help icon at the top.

2. Select the Talk to a human option, and then type it again when prompted.

3. Choose I still need a human, and then proceed with Contact us.

4. When asked by the bot, enter your concern, like " Review a refund request."

5. Click Let’s talk.

6. Select either Get a call or Start messaging option.

7. Please follow the on-screen steps to continue.

Thank you for responding,

 

I purchased directly with QuickBooks so my only support appears to be chat who has not been able to provide any assistance to date.

 

I have been on to 4 chat agents, one told me it takes 5-7 working days to review and today's chat agent said that's for processing the refund payment but that there is no time limit to review the refund request. I submitted it 12 working days ago so I think at this stage it's in limbo.

 

I asked for a phone number to contact or can they contact the billing team. I was told because I'm based in Ireland there is no phone number and the chat agent is unable to contact the billing team to find out why it's taking so long.

 

So considering I bought directly with QuickBooks online how else can I make contact or at least get someone to look at my request from 2.5 weeks ago?

I understand the importance of knowing the status of the refund request you've sent. It takes 60 days to get your money back from the purchased date.
