How to edit payroll items prior to payment?

Since you are using Auto Payroll, start by temporarily removing the employees from it. This step is important as the payroll schedule relies on the details in the employee's profile. By doing this, you can prevent Auto Payroll from being disabled, which can happen if changes are made directly in the profile settings.

Once done, you can make changes to the scheduled payroll by following these steps:
 

1. Go to the Payroll menu, then Employees.
2. Choose the employee you want to edit and click on their Employment Details page.
3. Click Edit and on the drop-down arrow, select a pay schedule or add a new one. 
   
4. Hit Save to apply the changes.
