I'm happy to assist you with recording subcontractor services into QuickBooks, info-consultify. Let me outline the process for you.

When recording the services in QuickBooks, you can create a service item. Then, select the specific subcontractor and add the created service item when making a transaction.

Here's how:

  1. Click Sales from the left menu, then select Products and Services.
  2. Select New and choose Service.
  3. Enter the necessary information and the products.
  4. Click Save and Close.

Once done, create a bill transaction. Then, choose the sub-contractor and the item you've created in the Product and Services. Let me show you how:

  1. Go to the +New icon.
  2. Click Bill under the Suppliers column.
  3. Select the sub-contractor in the dropdown.
  4. Go to the Item Details.
  5. In the Product and Services choose the item you've created.
  6. Enter the necessary information.
  7. Click Save and close.

For more details about the process I've shared above, open these articles. It contains detailed steps on how to add an item and record bill payments in QuickBooks:

Additionally, I'll share these links that will guide you in updating your service item and run reports for your suppliers to reflect all payments made in QuickBooks:
