how to set up allowance of cents per kilometer

We can add a new pay category to add the kilometer allowance in your pay runs. Let me guide you how:

1. Click on the Payroll tab.
2. Click on the Payroll Settings.
3. Click on Pay Categories.
4. Click on Add.
5. Enter a Pay Category name and tick box for Is Fixed.
6. Click on Save.

Once done, go to the employee list and select the employee name and let's click on Pay Rates. Locate the pay category name and tick box for Show in pay run and enter rates. Then click on Save.

Then, create a new pay run and verify if the pay category shows up in your employee's earnings.
