Question

How to turn off the pop-up "suggestions" to obvious/rudimentary things on expenses page?

Is this a glitch? Every single time I go to add an expense, this annoying pop-up comes up (the one where you can click 'take a tour'). It's beyond frustrating, I have hundreds of manual expenses to do and this annoying little box pops up every time which I have to keep clicking off. I will cancel all of my subscriptions before I deal with this headache anymore.

This isn't the kind of impression that I'd like you to have,bencampbellpt@gm.

I understand that the pop-up may slow down your workflow if you're already familiar with the steps it provides. By default, newly created accounts are prompted to follow the tour, but you have the option to close it by clicking the X icon.

Please know that this feature is designed to guide you on how to optimize your QuickBooks Online experience. Right now, the option to turn this off unavailable in the program. Rest assured, this pop-up will eliminate on its own after you complete the guided tour and save your expense transactions.

I also know this is something very important to your company. We are committed to building products and services that really meet your needs. If you're looking for a different way to bypass the setup guide or tours that you're prompted with, I encourage sending us your suggestions and feedback (Gear icon > Profile > Feedback). This way, our Product Development Team will know what our customers would like to see improved.

I've also included an article that will help record, edit, and delete expense transactions in QuickBooks Online: Enter and manage expenses.
