I am based in Trinidad and Tobago, but believe I have the Ireland version of Quickbooks. Would it be a problem to switch to the T&T or global version

Allow me to share some ways to move from QuickBooks US to International. I'm here to help you out.

Are you trying to change the country of your subscription to QuickBooks? If so, there isn't a way to change which country your account is set to within the system directly. You'll need to create a new account by choosing the country first: https://quickbooks.intuit.com/choose-country/.

I'd suggest creating a new subscription in QuickBooks and then cancelling the other account to avoid billing issues.

Here's how to create a new account.

1. Go to the Intuit accounts page.
2. Select the Create an account link.
3. Enter your email address and phone number. Note: If you see a "This user ID is already taken" message, you may already have an account. Select the Sign in or the Recover your account link and enter your email address.
4. Create a password.
5. When you're ready, select Create account.

We'll send you a link with instructions to verify your email address. Then you're all set.

However, if you're referring to switching companies using the same email, here's how to switch between company files in QuickBooks Online:

1. Go to the Gear icon.
2. Under Profile, select Switch Company.
3. From the list, select the company you want to switch to.
